A proud Skyline alumnus, Jared brings both lived experience and heartfelt commitment to his role as a Recovery Coach. Originally from North Carolina, Jared found his footing in recovery through community—and now dedicates himself to helping others do the same.

 

With a strong focus on 12-step involvement, Jared supports clients in building meaningful connections beyond Skyline, whether that’s attending meetings, finding a sponsor, or simply learning how to show up and be part of something larger. He believes that community is one of the most powerful tools in recovery—and he leads by example, showing up with consistency, humility, and a good sense of humor.

 

Jared also plays a key role in making sure day-to-day life at Skyline runs smoothly. From organizing rides and helping keep the houses in rhythm, to making sure new admits feel welcomed and supported, he’s the steady presence behind the scenes ensuring everyone’s basic needs are met—so they can focus on doing the deeper work.

 

When he’s not working with clients at Skyline or hitting a meeting, you can find Jared on the pickleball court (he plays a mean game), enjoying time with friends, or soaking up the sunshine Bend has to offer. In the winter, you’d be hard pressed to find him anywhere but Mt. Bachelor, combining his coaching skills with his love of snowboarding, working as an instructor.
