Gage is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-I) and is currently earning his master's in social work. He began his career as a program assistant for a collegiate recovery program and has worked as a counselor in addictions treatment in a residential and outpatient setting. 

 

In his role at Skyline, Gage provides addictions counseling as well as life skills coaching. Every weekend Gage makes sure the clients have an opportunity to experience and explore Central Oregon, and facilitates the creation of the community meal for everyone to enjoy. 

 

Quarterly, Gage takes lead on organizing the adventure trip, taking all the clients to locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. His work centers around guiding others to find purpose and direction in their own lives while aiding in the navigation of life challenges in recovery. As the first hired staff member, Gage knows the ins and outs of Skyline. 

 

Gage utilizes outdoor experiences and individual counseling to help each client find their own potential of a full and meaningful life.

 

During his free time, Gage loves to rock climb out at Smith Rock, ski at the local mountain, and spend time near the rivers.
