BC specializes in working with young adults, teens, and their families. She utilizes a relational based approach that incorporates Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), somatic/body work, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness practices. 

 

BC spent several years working with youth in wilderness and residential settings ranging from the southern Appalachian Mountains, the deserts of Utah, the Rockies in Colorado, the jungles of Costa Rica and now beautiful Oregon. She has a deep passion for supporting people who are transitioning into a new phase of life, and helping them reconnect to themselves and to those around them.

 

She received a Bachelors in Integrative Studies from George Mason University and holds a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Wilderness Therapy from Naropa University. She is currently licensed in the state of Oregon as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and is registered as an LPC supervisor. 

 

BC comes from a military family and has been a nomadic transplant most of her life, living in multiple states and countries. She loves music, rock climbing, tacos, and hanging out with her beloved dog, Teenie.
